I few weeks ago I got a cold. It was the first in a long time and I was miserable. My nose was so sore from all the blowing. But, to my surprise when I went to the drug store I found tissues that were infused with oils to help soothe my nose. I thought how easy would these be to make, plus I could create my own blends.
The tissues I made were infused with essential oils which are amazing for supporting a healthy immune function, boosting energy and caring to your skin during winter months. Of course I used Buffalo Girl Soaps steam distilled essential oils because they actually do work extremely well and don’t contain any harmful ingredients like most essential oils do.
- 3 Boxes of tissues (ones with pretty boxes)
- 4-8 drops of Peppermint
- 4-8 drops of Eucalyptus
- 4-8 drops of Lavender
Open up a box of tissues from the bottom (my boxes opened at the sides) and drop in 1-2 drops of essential oil in each corner of the box. Seal the box back up. Leave to infuse for a day. Now you have aromatherapy tissues.
You can use whatever oils you like. I chose to make 3 different boxes: one box with Eucalyptus which will be good to support a healthy immune and respiratory system. Next, I added Peppermint to one of my other boxes for those who need an energy boost. You can also breathe in the oil from the tissue which helps to support a healthy respiratory system. Then lastly, I added Lavender to my third box as it is kind to the skin. You can also blend the oils in each box. Go crazy and have fun!
To be on the safe side I would avoid these tissues if you are crying. You need to keep essential oils out of the eyes.
Wishing you Peace and Health,
